SVO
解説
SVO には目的語 O が含まれており、動詞の対象の名詞が入ります。
I like baseball.
野球が好きです。
The cat is in the box.
猫がその箱の中に入っています。
また、よく to と for がこの文型と一緒に使われます。
このとき to と for 使い分けは動詞によって決まります。give, show, send, teach など相手がいる前提の動詞では to が用いられ、cook, make, buy など相手がいなくてもできる動詞では for が用いられます。
三単語英文の正体
まれに「英語は三語単語言えば何とかなる」と聞きますが、それは SVC と SVO がもっとも使いやすい文型だからです。
まずは三単語からでも良いので英語を話すことになれましょう！
